In May 2025 in Almaty, Iteca Kazakhstan Exhibition Company, with the support of the Ministry of Health, SK Pharmacia LLP and industry associations, will organise the 2nd Kazakhstan International Exhibition ‘Equipment, Raw Materials and Technologies for the Pharmaceutical Industry’ - PharmaTECH Kazakhstan 2025.
Kazakhstan pharmaceutical market is one of the most dynamically developing markets in the Eurasian space and demonstrates stable growth. Today the pharmaceutical industry of Kazakhstan, thanks to effective measures of state support, has a huge potential for profitable investments. As noted by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in his Address to the people of Kazakhstan ‘Unity of the people and systemic reforms - a solid foundation for the prosperity of the country’, today the issue of increasing the share of domestically produced medicines and medical devices up to 50% already in 2025 is of particular importance in ensuring the national security of the country.
One of the main trends is the increase in production and consumption of medicines. Over the last 6 months, foreign supplies of medicines to Kazakhstan exceeded one billion US dollars ($1.06 billion).
The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan continues to actively implement measures to support national manufacturers and increase the investment attractiveness of the industry. To date, there are 193 domestic manufacturers operating in Kazakhstan. According to the results of 2024, the Ministry of Health of the RK, the volume of production of domestic pharmaceutical products increased to 124 billion tenge, more than $238 million, and the growth was 18%.
MH RK is also actively working on localisation of production of original and innovative drugs on the basis of domestic enterprises.
Agreements have already been signed with global pharmaceutical giants such as Pfizer, Roche and AstraZeneca, which plan to produce and supply their drugs in Kazakhstan. For example, Pfizer will organise the production of a 20-valent pneumococcal vaccine, and Roche will produce breast cancer drugs. In addition, work is underway with other major companies such as Novo Nordisk, Bayer and Johnson&Johnson.
The PharmaTECH Kazakhstan exhibition will facilitate the establishment of co-operation with global pharmaceutical corporations, attract investment in the development of pharmaceutical production in Kazakhstan, increase the export potential of domestic pharmaceutical products, build up scientific and human resources potential, expand the volume and range of off-take contracts with domestic manufacturers.

Elite Line is an international specialised exhibition of footwear, fur, leather and accessories. It was founded in 2006 in Kazakhstan under the name ‘Central Asia Leather&Shoes’. The exhibition showcased collections of foreign and domestic manufacturers from countries such as Russia, Turkey, Germany, Italy, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, etc. After the world pandemic associated with COVID-19, the exhibition switched to a professional B2B format, rebranded, and resumed its activities under the high-profile name ‘Elite Line’.

Euro Shoes, a specialised expo-project widely known to many buyers and fashion industry specialists, became a partner of the Elite Line exhibition in Kazakhstan.

The SHOESSTAR 2024 footwear exhibition is a major industry event where footwear manufacturers and wholesalers meet. In Kazakhstan, it is held in the city of Almaty, the largest population centre in the country.
